Emin Gök is an artist, musician and psychologist working mostly with sound, installation and video forms. His unique neo-traditionaly furnished approach, where rawness in material meets destructiveness in intervention, appears as a sincere exposition of the timeless. Intentionally carrying and canceling cultural elements to play on our value-structures, he blends psychological and phenomenological concepts into his experimental and post-genre landscape. After graduating from Koc University (Psychology) and University of Warwick (Philosophy) with a focus on art x mental health relationship, he abandoned a lucrative career in psychology for the freedom of artistic expression and the intimacy of communication achievable only through art. Since then he produced albums, directed films, video art and designed several installations. He is currently working in his studio in Beyoğlu and regularly travels internationally to perform his musical and artistic work.
